Operations Technician (Hospitality & Catering)
My client is a leading organisation based in Newry, who are currently seeking an experienced Operations Technician (Hospitality & Catering) to join their team.  This is a Full-Time, Temporary position initially until the 30th of June 2025.
Working hours: Monday – Friday: 36 hours per week.  With a salary of £24,027 - £24,404 per annum (dependent on experience).
Requirement to travel to other sites when needed.  Successful candidate will be required to an Access NI check.
Job Purpose:
You will be responsible for providing assistance, technical and administrative support in the Faculty of Professional Services to ensure the efficient and effective running of the kitchens and restaurants. These will be maintained to a high standard in order to meet the needs of all in line with curriculum planning and Health & Safety Legislation.
Essential Criteria:
- A minimum of 1 years (within the last 5 years’) relevant customer service or administrative experience in a busy modern office/retail
- A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in any discipline
- A pass grade at GCSE Level in English Language or Essential Skills Level 2 in Literacy or an equivalent qualification
- A pass grade at GCSE Level in Mathematics or Essential Skills Level 2 in Numeracy or NICATS Access Maths Modules or an equivalent qualification
- IT proficient in the use of software packages to include Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
