Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking to join a progressive and growing business operating in the Aerospace, Medical, and Automotive sectors? If so, APPLY NOW! A well-established and expanding company is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their dynamic team.
Location / Hours: This is a full-time position with standard hours from Monday to Friday located near Newry, Ireland.
Hours: 40 hours per week, typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday). Some overtime may be required.
Main Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Develop programs for intricate and bespoke projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with production and schedulers to ensure critical path milestones are met.
  • Maintain quality standards, including the proving of first-off parts.
  • Create work instructions and set-up sheets.


Essential Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in manufacturing complex precision parts on 5 & 3 Axis CNC machines with in-depth knowledge of CNC programming techniques, CAD/CAM, jig, and tool design.
  • Demonstrable experience with HyperMill CAD/CAM software for 3 + 5 Axis machining.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
  • Ability to work with operatives to set up and prove first-off parts.
  • Flexibility and ability to work within agreed lead times.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and produce a high standard of work.


Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience programming 5-axis parts and posting to Haas CNC machines.
  • Previous experience in a regulated industry such as aerospace, automotive, or medical.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of materials, including brass, aluminium, stainless steel, and nylon.
