Your new role...As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer will see you as a key driver in the design, layout, and continuous improvement of the factory and production processes. You will leverage your expertise in manufacturing principles, lean methodologies, and design to optimise workflows, maximise efficiency, and ensure the production environment meets the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing optimal factory layouts, designing efficient workstations, specifying and integrating new equipment, and optimising existing production lines. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives, provide technical expertise and support, and collaborate on new product introductions. What you'll need to succeed...in this role is a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, along with 5 to 7 years of industrial manufacturing engineering experience. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Pro-E (Creo) is essential, as is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. You should have a proven track record of innovation and process improvement, with the ability to work on your own initiative and lead others. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical/electronics, assembly work, and safe working practices is crucial.
