With new contracts secured, they are looking for a dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Engineering team. This company prides itself on maintaining high standards and adhering to strict Health & Safety policies.Your new roleYour new role will involve facilitating and assisting with the design and construction of expanding operations. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the facilities and mechanical infrastructure, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the industry. Your expertise will be crucial in achieving high-quality standards and meeting project deadlines. What you'll need to succeedWhat you'll need to succeed includes a degree in Engineering and at least three years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment. You should have experience in heavy steel design work, ideally within the handling industry, and be proficient in SolidWorks 3D and AutoCAD 2D. Strong site survey skills, the ability to interpret engineering drawings, and knowledge of hydraulics and electric systems are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are also required.
