As the Group Financial Controller you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring robust financial governance across the organisation. This position offers a platform to drive efficiency, accuracy, and strategic insight in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of consolidated group accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Oversee cash flow management and financial risk analysis.
- Manage and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership.
- Enhance internal controls and financial processes.
- Drive efficiencies and contribute to long-term business goals.
- (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 5+ years post-qualification experience.
- Demonstrable experience in a senior financial leadership role, ideally within the construction, property, or related sectors.
- Expertise in group consolidations and IFRS reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mind-set.
- A proactive leader capable of inspiring teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Familiarity with large PLC environments or high-growth businesses is an advantage.
