As a Production Operative, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process. You will primarily be working with Production, Metal, CNC, Welding & glazing utilizing your skills and expertise to contribute to the success of the company.
The ideal candidate should be available Monday to Thursday from 6am to 4pm, with the possibility of occasional overtime. We offer a competitive hourly rate of 11.44, and overtime is paid at 17.16 per hour, with all training provided. The main responsibilities of the Production Operative will include:
- Operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce metal components according to specifications
- Welding and fabricating metal parts using various techniques
- Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials for production
- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised workspace
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
- Previous experience in metal fabrication or production is preferred, but not required
- Basic knowledge of CNC machines and welding techniques
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Strong work ethic and team-player attitude
- Manual handling experience is desirable
