About the Role
We are seeking a dynamicCNC Operator/Setter/Programmerto join our team in Devon. Our company specializes in bespoke waveguide products for the Medical, Defence, and Telecommunications industries.

Key Responsibilities
- Proving out new programs and setting/operating CNC Lathe machinery for both large and small batch work.
- Operating additional machinery in the machine shop as required.
- Manual milling/turning.
- Working with a variety of materials.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Conducting self-inspections of finished products using metrology equipment.
- Recording work accurately in the database and clocking on/off jobs.
- Maintaining machinery and ensuring a clean workspace.
- Reporting production issues and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
- Adhering to quality procedures and Health & Safety policies.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Understanding of engineering and machining principles.
- Experience programming and setting CNC milling machines, ideally on 2-axis CNC lathes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Familiarity with metrology equipment.
- Previous engineering apprenticeship or qualifications (preferred but not required).

- Commitment to working safely and following procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
Qualifications
- Minimum: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English. Candidates without these qualifications may still be considered.
- An engineering apprenticeship or other related qualification is desirable.
