Job Title: CNC Setter (Permanent)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Salary: £30,000 - £31,000

Role Summary:
Francesca's Recruitment Ltd is urgently seeking a talented CNC Setter for a company based in Newton Abbot. This role involves programming, setting, and monitoring CNC machines to meet targets, criteria, and deadlines.
Essential Duties:

Program and run CNC machines to complete new products and various functions

Change the tooling of the CNC machine

Observe machine operations to verify accuracy and detect malfunctions using precision measuring instruments

Adjust machine controls and verify “first piece inspection” using appropriate measuring instruments

Monitor work, test, and take critical measurements to identify and resolve issues promptly
-
Post-edit CNC programs for optimal performance

Maintain accurate data, records, and documentation

Perform tasks within allotted time limits

Ensure compliance with quality standards, policies, procedures, codes, and health and safety legislation

Report any issues impacting the organization or its clients/customers to the Line Manager

Contribute to the smooth running of the team

Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet budgetary controls

Participate in special projects as required
Education & Experience (Knowledge & Skills):
-
Knowledge of CNC Wood Routers
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
-
Proficient in using machinery, tools, equipment, and materials common to the role

Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations

Strong time management and task management skills
