Job Title: Accounts Manager
Location: Newton Abbot, Devon
Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Manager to join a dynamic team within practice. As an Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Provide financial reporting and analysis to senior management
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Oversee the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Resolve customer billing disputes and account inquiries
- Maintain strong relationships with clients
Experience:
- At least 1 year recent post qualification experience or qualified by experience
- The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified
- Accounts preparation experience gained from within a fast-paced accountancy practice environment
- Proven track record of success in managing a portfolio of client accounts
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, Quickbooks or Xero.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
