The company is seeking a highly experienced Accountant to support its growing team and operational needs.
Candidates should have proven experience in a financial and operational role, with strong analytical skills, and may be qualified by experience, AAT qualified, or part-qualified in ACCA/CIMA.
The role involves producing monthly management accounts, budgeting, cashflow forecasting, and general office support tasks.
The position offers a competitive salary and is based in central Newton Abbot.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Your new role

Reporting into the Managing Director, the main duties of the role are as follows;

Produce monthly management accounts and quarterly forecasts
Budgeting and forecasting
Ensuring the company's financial stability, undertaking cashflow forecasting
Invoice processing and expenses
Undertake credit control tasks, reduce overheads and manage debtor days
Maintain the CRM system and ensure data integrity.
Undertake general office support covering fleet management, insurances and logistics.

What you'll need to succeedYou will need to be a highly experienced Accountant who is willing to support the wider business from an operational perspective. Proven experience in a financial and operational role with a strong analytical skill-set. We welcome candidates who are qualified by experience, AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified and qualified applicants.
