We are seeking a Plumber's Mate to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a career in plumbing. The ideal candidate will assist qualified plumbers in installation, maintenance, and repair tasks, gaining valuable skills along the way.
Responsibilities:
Assisting plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
Handling tools and materials, ensuring they are ready for use.
Supporting pipework installations and other related tasks.
Ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Learning and applying plumbing techniques under supervision.
Skills and Attributes:
Basic understanding of plumbing or experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual labor.
Experience and Qualifications:
Previous experience in plumbing or construction is beneficial but not essential.
A willingness to undertake on-the-job training.
A valid CSCS card is desirable but not mandatory.
Hours and Benefits:
39-hour working week, Monday - Friday.
