We are proud to be partnering exclusively with this exciting business to find their next Service Delivery Technician. This role is perfect for anyone with helpdesk or1st line experience, looking to progress their skills.

The purpose of this role is to provide first and second line IT support to internal staff for all technologies, associated software and peripheral devices as well as day-to-day administration of systems and communications devices.

Responsibilities of the Service Desk Technician Role:

  • Provide first and second line IT support to internal staff for all technologies, associated software and peripheral devices as well as day-to-day administration of systems and communications devices.
  • Manage enquiries into the helpdesk and effectively prioritise tickets for an efficient and timely resolve
  • Set up new starter and leavers on the system
  • Assist with third line support when required including the development and management of the server, network and communication infrastructure
  • To build/deploy/manage Windows Laptops, Apple MacBooks and other mobile devices as required
  • Perform regular system monitoring
  • Daily backup procedures on the various server systems


Requirements of the Service Desk Technician Role:

  • Previous experience in a similar IT support role
  • Excellent understanding of MS Windows client operating systems, 365 applications & Active Directory
  • Excellent understanding of the operation of desktop/laptop hardware and software.
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP, AD/DNS/DHCP.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to organise workload and prioritise competing demands.
