The job role:


  • Provide Mechanical support for all key fixed plant and equipment at the Devon Ball Clays operations
  • Maintain plant availability at high levels through planned routine and reactive maintenance
  • Maintain mechanical fixed processing plant - including fans, filters, mills, conveyors, packaging, etc.
  • Fault find and resolve mechanical issues
  • Adhere to Health & Safety standards
  • Welding and fabrication work


Please note this role will involve working at height.

You will:


  • Have an NVQ Level 3, or equivalent within mechanical engineering
  • Legally be able to drive in the UK
  • Have previous experience of working on Mills, Pumps, Conveyors, Bagging Equipment and other Process Plant
  • Have a positive attitude with the ability to work under pressure
