The job role:
The processing operative is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment? Join our team at the Heathfield Plant and play a key role in our manufacturing operations while ensuring health, safety, and quality standards are met.
- Operate Attritor Mills and IBC bagging line
- Bagging the ball clay
- Bulk milling
- Support shredding operations
- Safely operate mobile plant equipment – front end loading shovel & Forklift
- Meeting production targets
- Perform Level 1 maintenance tasks and report equipment faults
- Carry out site cleaning and promote good housekeeping practices
- Follow health and safety guidelines

You will:
- Bring motivation, drive and enthusiasm as this is a very hands-on role. In addition, you’ll:
- Hold Full and valid UK driving licence
- Possess a Front-end loading shovel or Forklift certificate
- Be from a production background (desirable)
- Understand health and safety in the workplace
- Have the willingness to learn and drive other mobile plant equipmentÂ
- Be a team player
- Possess basic numeracy, literacy and IT skills
