Waveguide Technician

  • Monday to Friday 39 hrs
  • Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:00

Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a skilled Production Technician to join their client's team in Newton Abbot. The ideal candidate will be an experienced individual with a strong background in waveguide technology. As a Production Technician, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the production of our products. If you have a passion for precision and attention to detail, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

  • Torch brazing and soldering of Brass, Copper and Aluminium.
  • Forming (bending and twisting) of waveguide tube.
  • Painting (Wet Spraying)
  • Silicone moulding and coating

Cross training will be provided across all sections of the manufacturing process as employees are expected to be multi skilled to assist with meeting production targets.

Experience

  • Have experience of using hand held tooling/ measuring equipment.
  • Be familiar with working engineering drawings.
  • Be used to working within ISO9001 quality systems.

To be successful in this role you must have Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to demonstrate and practice common sense. Showing initiative and forward thinking.

Be hungry to learn, continually develop and take on more responsibility with a problem-solving approach to technical issues. Hard working and willing to put the time in where needed.
