Acorn by Synergie are proud to work in partnership with The GM Coachwork Group to recruit for Production Managers, due to their continued expansion.

The GM Coachwork Group are a leading specialist convertor and manufacturer of wheelchair accessible vehicles, wheelchair accessible minibus, vehicle adaptations and campers. As a key player in the market, they supply vehicles nationwide and international, both to private individuals & companies alike, via the Motability scheme, corporate clients and leasing companies.

The successful applicants will be highly motivated, with an eye for detail but able to work to tight timescales. You will be managing a team of teared skills individuals. You will be a good problem solver and will have previous experience from a manufacturing environment.

Role and responsibilities:
To mentor and lead a team, while encouraging a collaborative working environment, delivering on time production, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Desirable qualifications and experience:

  • Experience from the manufacturing sector.
  • Great IT skills.
  • Be able to lead, motivate and inspire your team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, liaising with internal and external organisations.
  • Schedule and monitor workload to meet required deadlines.
  • Ability to work and produce KPI's.
  • Embed a team working culture.
  • Able to identify the cause of issues and blockages, which interrupt the flow of work.
  • Completion of performance reviews and skill development of the team.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to the location.

Competitive salary plus performance related bonus.

Full Time role, working Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30.
