gap personnel Exeter, are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector based in Newton Abbot, Devon.

As a Quality Inspector your duties will include:
- Checking paperwork and job numbers match.
- Completing Quality checks in a timely manner.
- Checking for damages.
- Inspect the vehicle using confirmation/amendments making sure customer specifications are met and ensure it is of the highest quality.
- Repair any issues to the vehicle and any major defects, escalate to Manager/Leading Hand promptly and accurately.
- Complete all Quality Control paperwork and pass to relevant department for product release.
- Assist Production where necessary.
About You:
- Able to make decisions.
- You will need an excellent eye for detail.
- Previous experience with vehicle inspection and maintenance
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
- Ability to identify and diagnose vehicle issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Hand Tools experience – beneficial
Working Hours & Pay:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 0800am – 1630pm
- £12.24 per hour
