Are you a hardworking and dedicated individual looking for your next career opportunity? Look no further! We are currently seeking Production Operatives to join the team at a metal fabrication plant in Newton Abbot
The ideal candidate should be available Monday to Thursday from 6am to 4pm, with the possibility of occasional overtime. We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.21, and overtime is paid at £18.31 per hour, with all training provided. The main responsibilities of the Production Operative will include:
- Operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce metal components according to specifications- Welding and fabricating metal parts using various techniques- Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy- Assisting with loading and unloading materials for production- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised workspace
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:- Previous experience in metal fabrication or production is preferred, but not required- Basic knowledge of CNC machines and welding techniques- Excellent hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines- Strong work ethic and team-player attitude- Manual handling experience is desirable
