Security Supervisor - Newton Abbot

Responsibilities 

• Supervise the security team - direct employees and contractors - to ensure appropriate site security 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Ensure all security systems (for example CCTV/ANPR/telephone/email/fire and intruder alarms etc) are fully functional and appropriately utilised by all team members
• Ensure all site security policies and procedures are observed and adhered to
• Ensure all site security policies and procedures are kept up to date and reviewed annually
• Support and deliver required training on site security policies and procedures to new team members, and provide ongoing training as necessary
• Provide a primary point of contact with contractor (SecureForce) to ensure on site security cover is provided at all times
• Support the enforcement of site parking rules and undertake traffic speed checks as required
• To professionally represent the company to all external parties and visitors at all times

Person Specification

Essential

• Fire Warden Training qualification
• First Aid at Work qualification
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional approach to all internal and external parties
• Proven ability to supervise a diverse team
