About the Role:
As a Learning Support Worker, you will:
- Plan and Deliver: Create and implement individual learning programmes for 1:1 or small groups.
- Safeguard: Prioritize the safety and well-being of pupils, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Support: Help pupils with Special Educational Needs access learning throughout the school day.
- Keyworker: Act as a trusted adult, guiding young people to make positive choices and overcome barriers to learning.
- Encourage: Foster strategies for managing behaviour, anger, and frustration.
- Collaborate: Work closely with other staff members and contribute to the On Track community.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and contribute to multi-agency meetings.
- Promote: Boost self-esteem and independence among pupils.
- Prepare: Create materials, displays, and resources as needed.
- Transport: Use your own vehicle to transport children and young people, ensuring it is insured for business use.
