Our valued client is a reputable logistics company who are seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers to operate across the northern postcodes and Scotland.
Deliver palletised goods with efficiency and customer service at the heart of what you do. While youll primarily drive Class 2 vehicles, you may occasionally step into a Luton van when needed.
Shift Schedule: Day work (Monday to Friday), average 10-hour shifts. (Require nights out)
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle to transport goods to various locations within the northern postcodes and Scotland
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods while adhering to the company's standards and safety regulations
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects or issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and logbooks
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team and clients to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license
- CPC
- Proven experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver in a similar logistics or delivery role
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with the northern postcodes and Scotland routes
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
