This is a permanent, full time in the office position.

Site Electrical Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop and oversee the commissioning andmaintenance of all new and existing electrical installations on site, ranging from 11,000v down to 100v systems.
  • Perform fault finding, diagnostic and optimisation activities across site electrical and instrumentation system and equipment
  • Ensure costs are minimised without compromising the quality of the service provided and to check operational control
  • Assist the O&M Group to solve electrical problems,ensuring minimum disruption to the plant.
  • Produce maintenance schedules and manuals as necessary and approve these and other key technical documents for use within the department.
  • Assist in the production of electrical system designs for process and utilities systems.
  • Prepare documentation, write reports and give presentations as necessary.
  • Provide technical data and documentation require for the preparation of proposals

Site Electrical Engineer Key Requirements:

  • Experienceworking on LV/HV distribution systems within an industrial/facilities environment
  • Demonstrable xperience of electrical HV switching
  • Good knowledge of motors control systems and circuits (DOL, S/D, VSD)
  • Ability to organise and motivate a team and to delegate work to others
  • Ability to work within a multi-trades team
  • Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering
  • IEE 16th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Must be a British Citizen and willing to be Security Check (SC) cleared
