CNC Press Brake Setter
- Location: Newton Aycliffe
- Rate of Pay: £13 - £15.50 per hour
- Day shift – 4 day working week, Mon – Thursday 7:45am to 5:30pm
- OT available if wanted
- 37.5 hours per week
- Permanent position
Are you an experienced CNC Press Brake Setter looking for a new challenge? Do you have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for precision engineering? If so, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Program, set, and operate CNC press machinery to exact specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings with accuracy.
- Perform pressing, punching, and fabrication tasks with advanced equipment.
- Carry out machine maintenance and report service needs.
- Ensure safety compliance and maintain accurate documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best manufacturing practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience – At least 3 years in a relevant industry, operating press brake machinery.
- Qualifications – NVQ Level 2 in Machine Operations (or equivalent).
- Skills – Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a good understanding of engineering principles and materials.
- Technical Knowledge – Ability to interpret design drawings and apply Lean manufacturing principles (an advantage).
- Team Player – A proactive, can-do attitude and a flexible approach to work.
