Reed Further Education are currently supporting a leading training provider who have centres in the Northeast who delivery outstanding quality in the field of Apprenticeships, Traineeships, Pre Employment and Commercial Training. 

Due to continued growth, we need an Onsite Assessor to join our team. Based on site with learners and occasional office work.

Location: Onsite with clients and learners, occasional work from Gateshead office - Northeast 

Salary: £32,000 - £40,000

Role Overview: As an Onsite Assessor, you will be responsible for training, reviewing, and monitoring learners within the construction sector from Level Two. You will manage an allocated caseload, ensuring learners complete their qualifications within agreed timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments using various methods to ensure successful qualification outcomes.
  • Visit learners in the workplace to deliver teaching and learning in line with qualification requirements.
  • Produce monthly progress reports for your caseload.
  • Participate in standardisation meetings as required.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of all learners.
  • Complete all relevant funding documentation and administrative tasks to meet compliance requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Equal Opportunities policies and Health & Safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the Construction Industry.
  • Experience assessing NVQs in Construction.
  • Experience in teaching/training in a workplace environment.
  • Full UK driving licence and use of own car, prepared to travel.
  • Recognised NVQ Assessor Qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • Vocational qualification to at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.

Special Requirements:

  • Satisfactory references.
  • Evidence of qualification certificates.
  • Willingness to undertake a DBS Enhanced Disclosure check.
