Our client based in Newton Aycliffe is recruiting for an experienced process/Mixing operative to work in a busy manufacturing environment.

The general duties will be to :

Operating Machinery: Setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in mixing and processing chemical or other materials.

Material Handling: Measuring, weighing, mixing, and loading raw materials into tanks or equipment.

Process Monitoring: Monitoring instruments and equipment during the mixing and processing stages, making adjustments as needed.

Quality Control: Taking routine samples and recording data for lab quality checks, ensuring products meet specifications.

Safety Compliance: Following safe procedures for material handling and production, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Documentation: Recording observations, data, and any deviations from standard procedures.

Collaboration: Working as part of a team, reporting to supervisors, and assisting in improving processes and products.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining production lines and equipment. Packaging and Storage: Packaging finished products and moving them to storage areas.

Pay rate is £13.16 per hour

Shifts are 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm rotating weekly.
