Job Description
GEM are working with a global automotive organisation to recruit a number of manufacturing operatives for their high-profile facility in Newton Aycliffe. We are keen to hear from candidates with and without experience within this sector, as full training is provided.
Duties
- Working in accordance with health and safety directives and to standard operating procedures
- Operating machinery on busy production lines
- Quality checking and labelling of finished product
- General housing keeping duties
- Working towards a qualification of Performing Manufacturing Operations over a 9-month period
Required knowledge, skills or experience
- Have a can-do attitude
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Flexible

Location: Newton Aycliffe
Hours of work:
- Days (Mon - Fri) 7am - 3pm @£11.44
- Backs (Mon - Fri) 3pm - 11pm @£13.73
- Nights (Mon - Fri) 11pm - 7am @£15.25
Rates of pay:
- £11.44 - £15.25 per hour
· After completion of PMO qualification basic hourly rate increases to £13.77
