Job Description:
Vision for Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1/2 Teacher to join a friendly and welcoming primary school in the DL5 area. The role is full-time, starting on November 24, and will continue until February 2025, with the possibility of being extended.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a positive impact on young learners at a crucial stage of their education. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons, supporting the academic and social development of students in Years 1 and 2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to Year 1/2 students.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to pupils and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school activities and events.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1 or Year 2.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil development.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one before the start date).
