Cleaner

Our client is looking to recruit a cleaner who is enthusiastic about creating and maintaining safe and nurturing environments for children and young people, focusing on high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness.

Duties:

• Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, and kitchen areas to high standards.
• Clean and disinfect kitchen areas, including countertops, sinks, and appliances.
• Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are running low.
• Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness throughout the premises.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and infection/prevention control procedures.
• Working closely with the management and care team to maintain a welcoming and safe environment for children and young people.
• Be professional and always welcoming to all visitors of Pear Tree Projects.

Requirements/Experience:

• Prior experience in cleaning roles preferred but not essential.
• Thorough attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and understanding personality when working in our homes with vulnerable children and young people.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check with Children's Barred List Check.

Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and will be required to use their vehicle for work purposes.

Permanent, Part-time, Full-time, 16 - 40 hours

£11.44 - £12.00 an hour
