We are working closely with a Newton Aycliffe based client to assist in a 10-12 month contract. This is a role where you will ideally be able to hit the ground running and have like-for-like experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Payroll:
- Manage Personnel records
- Check day to day clocking in reports and manage clocking in machine
- Check and calculate Overtime
- Control holidays/sickness records/absences
- Process pay through Sage payroll
- Manage HRMC instructions
- Raise monthly payslips
- Assist Managers with HR related issues such as disciplinary documents, recruitment advertising, inductions
- Schedule appointments for annual medicals/new starters
- Manage Pension contributions to 2 pension schemes
Accounts Assistant:
- Credit control, involving checking customer credit ratings, reminding customers to pay
- Purchase ledger invoicing
- Preparing monthly credit report
- Checking bank records each day
- Assisting with bank payments
- Additional adhoc office management duties, stock control etc.
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata to contract)Auto enrol pension 8.30am - 4.30pm (flexible) working hours, 30 minute paid lunch
