Job Description

We are seeking a Facilities Operator to join the facilities team. The role involves performing day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring optimal plant conditions, and maintaining strict compliance and safety standards. The ideal candidate will monitor system parameters via a Building Management System (BMS), carry out plant maintenance, and support broader business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere strictly to Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies.
  • Monitor process conditions and control plant operations through BMS.
  • Perform tasks such as sampling, data recording, and plant cleaning.
  • React proactively to abnormal operating conditions and ensure safety protocols.
  • Maintain detailed plant logs and suggest improvements.
  • Collaborate with site technicians for chemical and gas management.
  • Support maintenance activities using CMMS (Maximo) and assist in installations.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement and Business Improvement Projects (BIT).
  • Participate as an Emergency Response Team (ERT) member.
  • Work within cleanroom environments to support technical tasks.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a modern facility, with knowledge of ISO9001/14001 and OHSAS18001 standards.
  • Key Skills:
    • Proficient in building management systems.
    • Ability to disassemble/reassemble mechanical units.
    • Strong problem-solving and teamwork capabilities.
    • Ability to maintain high standards under pressure.
  • Qualifications: City and Guilds in plant process/operation or equivalent experience.
