Job Description
We are seeking a Facilities Operator to join the facilities team. The role involves performing day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring optimal plant conditions, and maintaining strict compliance and safety standards. The ideal candidate will monitor system parameters via a Building Management System (BMS), carry out plant maintenance, and support broader business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere strictly to Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies.
- Monitor process conditions and control plant operations through BMS.
- Perform tasks such as sampling, data recording, and plant cleaning.
- React proactively to abnormal operating conditions and ensure safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed plant logs and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with site technicians for chemical and gas management.
- Support maintenance activities using CMMS (Maximo) and assist in installations.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement and Business Improvement Projects (BIT).
- Participate as an Emergency Response Team (ERT) member.
- Work within cleanroom environments to support technical tasks.
Skills & Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a modern facility, with knowledge of ISO9001/14001 and OHSAS18001 standards.
- Key Skills:
- Proficient in building management systems.
- Ability to disassemble/reassemble mechanical units.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork capabilities.
- Ability to maintain high standards under pressure.
- Qualifications: City and Guilds in plant process/operation or equivalent experience.
