Job Description:

As the Project Manager, you will take ownership of Capital and Maintenance Projects, ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental performance. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and seamless operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to strict Health & Safety protocols, including CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Managing the full project lifecycle: scope, budget, planning, execution, and commissioning.
  • Leading and coordinating internal teams and external contractors to achieve objectives.
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs, mitigating risks, and ensuring effective troubleshooting.
  • Driving performance metrics and KPIs to enhance team efficiency and project outcomes.


Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a chemical plant environment.
  • Experience of managing Facility or Asset Improvmenet projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and concurrent projects.
  • Expertise in project lifecycle phases, from concept to commissioning.
  • Technical proficiency in engineering disciplines, including Electrical, Mechanical, or Piping.
  • Familiarity with Planning and Scheduling Software and systems.
  • Desirable qualifications include a degree in Engineering, IOSH Managing Safely, and APMP Project Qualification.
