As a React Native Developer, you will collaborate with a dynamic and innovative team to create world-class digital experiences for their clients. What we need from you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in mobile app development
  • Strong proficiency in React Native and TypeScript
  • Experience with Expo framework and its ecosystem
  • Solid understanding of iOS and Android mobile development principles
  • Proven track record of publishing applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
  • Experience with version control systems, specifically git
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Demonstrates autonomy and self-motivation, effectively managing tasks and delivering high-quality results

What the role involves:
The role will assist the Programme Director and wider development team, in the development of software, websites and integrations for our clients. Duties include:
  • Design and develop high-quality mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript, and Expo
  • Build and maintain end-user-facing native applications for both iOS and Android platforms
  • Collaborate with the front-end development team to ensure consistent user experience and interface design
  • Handle the complete mobile app lifecycle, including building, testing, deploying, and releasing to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance
  • Actively participating in agile ceremonies and team meetings, contributing ideas and opinions on various topics
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per year.
Hours: Monday to Friday, working 37.5 hours per week to be worked flexibly between the core hours of 8am and 6pm.
