As a React Native Developer, you will collaborate with a dynamic and innovative team to create world-class digital experiences for their clients. What we need from you:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3+ years of experience in mobile app development
- Strong proficiency in React Native and TypeScript
- Experience with Expo framework and its ecosystem
- Solid understanding of iOS and Android mobile development principles
- Proven track record of publishing applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- Experience with version control systems, specifically git
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills
- Demonstrates autonomy and self-motivation, effectively managing tasks and delivering high-quality results
What the role involves:
The role will assist the Programme Director and wider development team, in the development of software, websites and integrations for our clients. Duties include:
- Design and develop high-quality mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript, and Expo
- Build and maintain end-user-facing native applications for both iOS and Android platforms
- Collaborate with the front-end development team to ensure consistent user experience and interface design
- Handle the complete mobile app lifecycle, including building, testing, deploying, and releasing to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance
- Actively participating in agile ceremonies and team meetings, contributing ideas and opinions on various topics
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per year.
Hours: Monday to Friday, working 37.5 hours per week to be worked flexibly between the core hours of 8am and 6pm.
