The Hours You’ll Work;

  • Permanent day shift
  • 08.30am till 16.30pm Monday to Friday

  • MTrec are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Newton Aycliffe area.

The Job You’ll Do;

  • Working alongside the Site Manager helping the warehouse operation and being an active hands-on member of the team.
  • Responsible for meeting KPIs set by Team Management
  • To lead by example.
  • To ensure all administrative tasks for the warehouse operation are completed where appropriate.
  • To ensure orders are picked accurately.
  • To ensure goods-in are receipted in accordance with policy.
  • Ensure all loads are checked and completed in full prior to dispatch.
  • Ensure all loads are secure prior to dispatch.
  • To ensure stock rotation is always maintained.
  • To load and unload trailers.
  • To confirm all inbound and outbound loads are accurate. To report any discrepancies to the Site Manager.
  • To assist with stock cycle count.
  • To ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
  • To work efficiently to agreed timescales.
  • To provide advice and guidance on issues to members of the warehouse team.
  • To assist the Site Manager helping to train shift employees to meet the required procedures and performance standards and ensure the training is correctly documented.
  • To support the team’s performance targets and standards in a fair and consistent manner and report any performance issues to the Site Manager.
  • To ensure that set break times are adhered to by shift staff.
  • To motivate your team to achieve the highest levels of productivity.

About You;

  • Reach license preferred but accept counter balance
  • Experience in warehouse and distribution environment.
  • Methodical with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to motivate the team to meet KPIs.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • A good accuracy level is essential.
  • Good numeracy and literacy.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team as required.
  • Aged 25+ with full driving licence.
