Description
- Supervise the entire credit control process
- Implementing and refining processes to ensure accurate ledgers are maintained and implementing routine audit processes to test that processes are fit for purpose and properly adhered to.
- Credit insurance- management of the groups credit insurance policies ensuring compliance.
- Regularly review client credit ratings and flag potential issues
- Prepare monthly reports on credit control performance
- Work with the finance team to forecast future credit issues
- Coaching, training and management of credit control team, implementing and monitoring KPI's.
- Ensuring the team is motivated and working effectively to deliver high levels of customer service.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Profile
A successful Credit Control Manager should have:
- CICM Qualification or actively studying towards.
- Previous experience in managing a fast moving, high volume, high value ledger on multiple trade terms.
- A proactive results-drive attitude
- Strong knowledge of credit insurance policies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in credit control software and MS Office
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
