My client is seeking an experienced and commercially astute HR Business Partner (or a confident Senior HR Advisor ready to step up) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive HR professional to support people strategy and drive business success across a growing, national organisation.

About the Role:

In this key position, the successful candidate will partner with managers across multiple sites, offering strategic and operational HR support. The role is hands-on, covering everything from employee relations to change management, and will involve regular national travel to engage directly with teams across the UK.

National Travel Required - Full UK driving licence is essential

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and people management issues

  • Manage a variety of employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance

  • Lead and contribute to key HR projects such as organisational development and change initiatives

  • Collaborate with recruitment teams on talent acquisition and succession planning

  • Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention initiatives

  • Ensure HR practices align with current employment legislation and best practice

  • Support learning and development efforts to enhance workforce capability

  • Utilise HR data and analytics to drive insight and inform decision-making

  • Travel to sites nationally to build relationships and deliver face-to-face HR support

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Previous experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor in a fast-paced environment

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience

  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Able to work autonomously and juggle multiple priorities effectively

  • Hands-on, solutions-focused, and proactive

  • Willing to travel across the UK as required

  • Full UK driving licence is essential
