We are thrilled to be working with a leading Manufacturing business based in Newton-Le-Willows to recruit for a Payroll Assistant. This role is the perfect opportunity for someone who has previous payroll experience and is looking to join a business and manage the whole payroll process from end to end.

Our client is a leading Manufacturing business based in Newton-Le-Willows. They are a £200 million turnover business and are constantly growing due to success.

Description

The main responsibilities of the Payroll Assistant are:

  • Processing payroll for over 400 staff, covering both 4 weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • P11D calculations
  • Reconciliation of payroll
  • Pension submissions
  • Posting of payroll into management accounts
  • Collating data for payroll
  • Internal auditing on payroll data including staff hours, overtime and expenses.
  • Administration of employee benefit packages
  • Support with HR Administration

Profile

The successful Payroll Assistant will posses:

  • Previous experience within a Payroll position is essential.
  • Experience using Sage 50 would be beneficial
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is critical
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft.
  • Proactive approach to work.
