Are you a passionate and dedicated RE Teacher with a proven track record in strong behaviour management? We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Secondary School RE Teacher to join an OFSTED rated 'Good' school in Wigan. This is a temporary position starting September up until at the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

- Planning and preparing RE lessons up to KS4 level.

- Utilize strong behaviour management strategies to ensure a conducive atmosphere for learning.

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal development.

- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the RE department and the school.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE in Secondary Education. Must specialise in RE

- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate or a willingness to obtain one before starting.

Skills and Attributes:

- Exceptional behaviour management skills to create a positive and focused learning environment.

- Ability to use a range of workshop tools and equipment and have a working understanding of how they are maintained

- Plan, prepare and deliver RE lessons up till KS4
