Role Overview:

Our client, a reputable provider of children's residential care services, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join their team at a newly refurbished 2-EBD children's home on the Fylde Coast. This Ofsted-regulated home is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct Care: Provide high-quality care and support to children with EBD, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Therapeutic Environment: Contribute to creating a therapeutic environment that promotes the well-being and development of each child.
  • Daily Activities: Engage children in daily activities, educational pursuits, and recreational opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of professionals to implement care plans and support strategies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with Ofsted requirements.

 

Shift Pattern:

  • Rota: 1 on, 2 off
  • Sleep-In Shifts: £50 per sleep-in

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a residential care setting or working with children with EBD is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment: A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their welfare and development.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including sleep-in shifts.
