The Role: We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in Newtown for an Interim Financial Reporting Accountant. This role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with relevant standards and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing financial statements, managing financial compliance, and supporting the company's financial operations during the interim period. This position will involve close collaboration with a small team, contributing to both team and individual targets by maintaining and enhancing the financial integrity of the organisation. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Conduct financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making
  • Maintain and develop both internal and external financial relationships

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a senior financial role is advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work under pressure and enjoys working towards targets and goals.
