Travail Employment Group are seeking an experienced and reliable HGV driver wanting ad hoc shifts. You will be required to transport goods safely and efficiently from the Newtown area to various destinations. This is a great opportunity for someone with a HGV licence to gain ad hoc shifts when convenient.

The Role:

• Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles.
• Ensure the security of goods during an efficient transit to designated locations.
• Awareness and adherence to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Complete critical vehicle maintenance checks.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked.
• Maintain excellent customer service during deliveries and interactions with clients.
• Report any incidents, accidents or vehicle issues to the appropriate authorities.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Class 2 HGV Licence.
• CPC Licence.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• Must have a UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to communicate effectively within a team and with the public.
• Reliable, punctual and customer oriented.
