Lecturer in Computing and IT - Temporary Position

Role Overview:Join our team at a prominent college in Newtown as a temporary Lecturer in Computing and IT. This role offers the opportunity to shape the minds of students using your expertise in Computing and IT, with a focus on practical and theoretical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a comprehensive range of teaching duties and administrative tasks associated with Computing & IT programmes.
  •  Utilise your knowledge of Unity and various other programmes to enhance the learning experience.

Schedule:

  • Monday: 09:00 - 16:00, Level 2 Games Design, 4 hours
  • Tuesday: 09:00 - 16:00, Level 3 BTEC IT, 5 hours
  • Wednesday: 09:00 - 16:00, Level 3 BTEC IT, 5 hours
  • Thursday: 09:00 - 16:00, Level 3 BTEC IT, 5 hours
  • Friday: 09:00 - 16:00, Level 2 Games Design, 5 hours

Requirements:

  • Level 6 qualification and experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Teaching qualification.
  • IT literacy to Level 4.
  • Level 2 qualifications in both Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent).
  • Ability to deliver educational content to the levels outlined above.
  • EWC Registered
