Job Title: Senior HR Officer 

Location: Newtown, 5 days a week on site 

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 DOE

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday an early finish on a Friday

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and efficient HR Officer to join our client. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for HR, looking to build upon their experience in an international business. The successful candidate will support various HR functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including vetting candidates and aligning job descriptions.
  • Provide payroll processing support
  • Manage low-level case work such as absence management.
  • Take accurate notes and maintain diligent records.
  • Ensure contracts are correctly compiled and understood.
  • Support the auditing of files and cleaning of data.
  • Participate in recruitment campaigns and best practice initiatives.
  • Provide support for payroll and outsourced payroll functions.
  • Work with new HRM systems (UKG, Chronos, iTrent, ADT).
  • Coach on KPIs and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ HR or payroll experience preferably within manufacturing sector
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong work ethic, adaptability, and ability to multitask.
  • Sociable and approachable, yet focused and trustworthy.
