Are you an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor from a construction or groundworks background looking to join a family-owned business that is at the forefront of the groundworks construction industry, in a role offering the autonomy to work on projects ranging from local schools and hospitals all the way to large scale operations for the Ministry of Defense?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to become a staple part of a family-run business who work on groundwork construction projects of the largest of scale for a broad client base ranging from schools and hospitals right through to major enterprises such as the Ministry of Defense. They have seen continual growth since their establishment in 2011 to the point where they now have over 90 employees and due to an ever-increasing workload. They are looking to grow their friendly team.

In this role you will be responsible for measuring and quantity take-off from drawings and initial project specifications, producing bills and pricings of project quantities, site visits to record information that may affect project pricing, reviewing project plans, specifications and other documents to prepare detailed and accurate cost and material estimates as well as liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.

This role would suit an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor from a construction or groundworks background looking to join a company in a family-owned business, with the added benefit of achievable career progression, company bonuses, and in-depth training on the company's expertise.

The Role

  • Estimation of cost and materials from initial projects specifications
  • Produce bills and pricings of project quantities

  • Full UK driving license
