I am seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher with experience in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs who can fully immerse themselves in the role. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for working with SEMH children, excelling at creating strong, supportive relationships that encourage these students to thrive and reach their full potential. They should be adept at fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment, as well as collaborating effectively with colleagues as part of a committed team. This is a challenging yet immensely rewarding position where you will directly see the positive effects of your dedication and compassionate teaching on the lives of SEMH learners in Hereford.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

  • Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically SEMH, ASD, ADHD
  • GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Certificate in Education/ PGCE / DTLLS/ DET
  • Ability to plan and deliver lessons to ensure students are getting the most out of classroom time
  • Own vehicle or ability to travel to the site
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills enabling you to work with colleagues and students at all levels
