Legal Assistant/Paralegal (Wills Probate and Trusts)Our well established client is recruiting for a Legal Assistnat in their wills, probate and trusts department Running own caseload of wills, will amendments, probate, trusts, Court of Protection and lasting power of attorney files. • Running own caseload of approximately 50 cases • Assisting head of department on his files • Dictate or create own correspondence on caseload • Billing own caseload • Attending deathbed wills in client homes or hospitals sometimes out of office hours Knowledge and skills required Previous experience of running own caseload similar to above. Would suit paralegal, junior legal executive or solicitor Personal qualities/behaviours Excellent communication skills with clients and staff, friendly, approachable, punctual, reliable, attention to detail, complete tasks to set deadlines, manage time effectively Salary £27,000-32,000 p.a. full-time Working Hours 5 days per week, 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday excluding bank holidays with 1 hour for lunch, 9am to 4.30pm Friday Benefits Pension scheme, 20 days holiday increasing with length of service, birthday holiday, bonus Christmas shopping day in December Probation period 3 months Start Date ASAP
