Your new role
As a Manufacturing Engineer for Assembly Operations, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, high-quality output, and safety compliance. You will collaborate closely with design engineers, production teams, and quality control to optimise assembly line processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement cost-effective solutions. Your role will involve designing and implementing assembly line layouts, conducting time and motion studies, and applying lean manufacturing techniques to drive continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. You should have 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in assembly operations, with a strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in CAD software, manufacturing process simulation tools, and data analysis is essential. Additionally, experience with Six Sigma certification and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems will be advantageous.
