£19.50 PER HOUR OVERTIME AFTER 40 HOURS

Day to Day Duties

Working as a Transport Administrator for our client your duties will be to:

  • Brief and debrief drivers accurately and on time
  • Prepare and reconcile delivery paperwork
  • Administer defect processes
  • Perform data entry tasks
  • Administer and report tachomaster
  • Update shipping MI
  • Check lane integrity
  • Investigate manifest errors
  • Complete Daily/Weekly/Monthly customer reports
  • Check customer centric processes are being followed (LP Paperwork)
  • Reconcile warehouse system following investigations

Essential Skills

As an Administrator it is essential that you have:

  • Ability to analyse and interpret data
  • Accuracy and strong compliance awareness
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft package
  • Good communication skills
  • Good writing skills

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience working in an administration role or related position
  • Experience working within the transport industry

  • Training provided and additional support throughout
