Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Reception cover/duties as and when required in various reception area's in the service
  • Processing Out-patient appointments using Clinic Management
  • Ensure case notes are available for clinics and returned to the appropriate areas
  • Booking of outpatient appointments and processing of appointment letters and associated documentation
  • Booking of Interpreters and Ambulances as and when required
  • Dealing with all telephone and other enquiries including the appropriate recording and referring of messages
  • Request and print letters, documents, labels and reports associated with computerised systems
  • To train, supervise and allocate work to designated Clerical staff
  • Liaise with client, staff and departments, internal and external to the Trust to ensure full and efficient service
  • Provide and ensure cover for staff during periods of leave as required


Working Hours:

  • Band 3 -. Rate of pay is 12.31 per hour and will be paid on a weekly basis
  • Hours of work - Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm
