Job Title: Junior Supply Chain Planner
Location: Newtownards
Salary: 26,500
Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Reports To: Supply Chain Manager

Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Junior Supply Chain Planner to join our team. In this role, you will support the supply chain planning team in ensuring the efficient flow of products through the supply chain, helping maintain optimal inventory levels and meet production targets. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn and develop within the field of supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in forecasting and planning inventory needs to ensure product availability.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet demand forecasts and production schedules.
  • Monitor and track supply chain performance, identifying and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Support in the management of raw material and finished goods inventories.
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
  • Communicate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Help in the coordination of the transportation of goods to and from suppliers and customers.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimise supply chain processes.
  • Support senior supply chain planners with ad hoc tasks and projects.


Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • relevant work experience min 1 year in similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large sets of data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of supply chain concepts and processes is a plus, but not essential.
